The official launch is scheduled for September 4, 2026 in Guguan, Taichung, with light shows, indigenous performances, and guided-trail activities.

配合这波推广，中央也同步推出国家级的住宿补助方案，补助期限自2026年9月1日起至11月30日止，或拨款用罄为止；pèi hé zhè bō tuī guǎng ， zhōng yāng yě tóng bù tuī chū guó jiā jí de zhù sù bǔ zhù fāng àn ， bǔ zhù qī xiàn zì èr líng èr liù nián jiǔ yuè yī rì qǐ zhì shí yī yuè sān shí rì zhǐ ， huò bō kuǎn yòng qìng wéi zhǐ ；To accompany the promotion, the central government simultaneously rolled out a national lodging subsidy program, effective from September 1, 2026 to November 30, 2026, or until funds run out.报名系统已于8月20日11时开始开放，前五天依国民身份证号码末位分阶段报名，随后全面开放。bào mí xì tǒng yǐ yú bā yuè èr shí rì shí yī shí kāi shǐ kāi fàng ， qián wǔ tiān yī guó mín shēn fèn zhèng hào mǎ mò wèi fēn jiē duān bào míng ， suí hòu quán miàn kāi fàng 。The registration system opened at 11:00 on August 20; for the first five days sign-ups are phased by the last digit of national ID numbers, then it opens to everyone.补贴结构依地区区分：一般本岛地区给予首晚最高新台币800元、第二晚1200元（最多两晚）；bǔ tī jié gòu yī dì qū qū fēn ： yì bān běn dǎo dì qū jǐ yǔ shǒu wǎn zuì gāo xīn tái bì bā bǎi yuán 、 dì èr wǎn yī qiān èr bǎi yuán （ zuì duō liǎng wǎn ） ；The subsidy structure differs by region: for general main-island areas the first night is subsidized up to NT$800 and the second night NT$1,200 (up to two nights).离岛则为首晚1000元、第二晚1500元。lí dǎo zé wéi shǒu wǎn 1000 yuán 、 dì èr wǎn 1500 yuán 。For the outlying islands, the first night is NT$1,000 and the second night NT$1,500.
