Delete Your TingWo Account and Data

TingWo is operated by Codoha Ltd. This page explains how to delete your TingWo account and all data associated with it.

Delete in the app (recommended, immediate)

1. Open TingWo and tap the Settings icon (the gear in the top right of the Home screen). 2. Scroll down to the Danger zone section. 3. Tap Delete account and all data and confirm.

Deletion is immediate and permanent. You do not need to contact us or wait for a review.

Or request deletion by email

If you signed in with Google, you can instead email support@tingwo.app from that Google email address and ask us to delete your account. We will verify that the address matches an account and complete the deletion within 30 days.

If you use TingWo without signing in (an anonymous session), your account is not linked to an email address. You can still request deletion, or a copy of your data, by email: open Settings, tap Copy ID under Account ID, and include that ID in your message to support@tingwo.app so we can locate and verify the account. The in-app steps above remain the fastest option.

Delete some of your data without deleting your account

You can also remove individual pieces of data and keep your account:

• Saved words and word lists: open Manage cards on the Home screen to

delete individual words or entire lists.

• Saved texts and articles: delete them from your library in the app.
• Anything else: email support@tingwo.app and describe what you would like

removed; we will complete the request within 30 days.

Data you delete this way is removed the same way as a full account deletion (see "What is retained" below).

What is deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes everything we store about you:

• Your account and sign-in link (including your email, name, and profile

picture if you signed in with Google).

• Your profile and settings.
• Your saved words, learning progress, and review history.
• Your pasted texts, articles, and word lists.
• Your points, streaks, and game progress.

Photos you scan and voice recordings you make are never stored in the first place; they are processed only to answer the specific request (see the Privacy Policy, section 3.3).

What is retained

• Deleted data is removed from our active systems immediately. Residual copies

in encrypted backups expire and are overwritten within 30 days.

• Pseudonymous, event-level usage analytics (for example, "a review session was

completed") are retained under our analytics retention schedule. They contain no study content and can no longer be linked to you once the account is deleted.

• We may retain records where required to comply with legal obligations.
